What if you read this once a week?

Titus 2:11-14
11For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. 12It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

What would happen if we read this verse once a week for the rest of our lives? I think we would see God's character of grace (vs. 11), God's plan in the way we should live (vs. 12), God's future for those who believe (vs. 13), and Christ Jesus' redeeming sacrifice of love, a people he calls "his very own" (vs. 14). We would know that God has a plan for us, a ultimate plan to give glory to Himself by building up a people who walk not according to the flesh but of the spirit.  The more I understand the plan God instituted from the beginning, the more I understand His character of redeeming grace, and the more I want to align my will with His. What a glorious thing it is to be included in God's big picture plan for the world, and it all started with his character of love. We serve an amazing God.
